I wrote a post called “What do you carry around with you” a while back. As I’m thinking about simplifying my life, I thought I’d compare what I had in my pockets then versus now.

How to spend it?

OK, still swamped at work - seem to be going in earlier and earlier and coming home later and later (still less hours than when I was in London). Feeling the pressure, although it’s enjoyable at the moment. I have $970m of deals on the go at the moment, which makes for an entertaining life.

I’m not “leaving on a jet plane”

Deja vu was invented for moments like this. 0730 flight to London was cancelled so switched to 0630 (ouch) and 1825 back was full so booked onto 1930 - it’s now 2044 and I’m hoping the 2130 takeoff slot from Heathrow is  real……..but i have a real good book, and I’m drinking coke and eating crisps [...]

Space filler

Work’s a wee bit busy at the mo’ so not too many posts today or tomorrow me thinks.
 Feeling just a tad under pressure but hey, that’s why they pay us the “seven figure bonuses” - err not likely Jon.
