Edinburgh is well known around the world for having the best Hogmanay celebrations of any city in the world. Or so it says.
Hogmanay is an opportunity for Scots to party the night away (we have the 2nd of January as a public holiday, unlike the rest of the UK).

Have just finished the first of my books for 2007. All 326 pages of the Jack Higgins book, polished off in 2 and a half hours. Light reading, good story but the twists were a wee bit too predictable.
