So, Romanov failed to bring in Mikailichenko then. It’s a shame, with his experience of Scottish & European football, his experience at Dynamo Kiev and then coaching the Ukrainian U21’s, he had the pedigree of someone who could have done a good job for us. I hope Ivanauskas does a good job for us but [...]

I’m reading John Ortberg’s book, “Everyone’s normal until you get to know them”, currently. Aside from the genius title, it’s been an interesting, and challenging, read. One particular point from this morning struck me:
Scott Peck says that most of the time we live in what he calls pseudocummunity. Its hallmark is the avoidance of conflict. [...]

This article in WIRED is interesting. Imagine if Google was then to crawl the web fro any site that used this term. It would mean I could blog about any product and as long as used the specific word (which I don’t want to say here for obvious reasons - I’m not blogging about a [...]

So tell me this, is this racist? It’s not meant in that way but I’d be interested in your views. Happy to remove it if people take offence - it’s meant as a wee bit of banter.

Apparently, the UK will have a major celebration of winning the Falklands war. This will be held some time during 2007. It’s very rare that I agree with someone like Tam Dalyell but he said that any celebration would be
a reckless, stupid thing to do
and I think he is spot on.
Why?1) This was a [...]
